- I have 30 years’ experience teaching creative writing at every level, from secondary school to university.

I read up to 5,000 words of your work (or a synopsis of your novel idea), write you a detailed report, and we meet online for a 1-hour video call to discuss it. A great way to get professional feedback without a large initial commitment.

This package includes:
• a two-hour video consultation exploring story structure and applying the three-act structure to your novel idea
• a detailed report on your 5,000-word synopsis after you’ve written it
• practical advice to give your novel the strongest possible foundations before you begin drafting

A bespoke service designed around your individual goals over weeks or months, giving you support and accountability all the way. It can include:
